The publisher's page

The desk, its one measurement, and its funding

Platform Facts India is an independent editorial desk. It republishes one measurement from named public sources, with the date and hour it was read, and it states plainly how it is funded.

What the desk measures and how

The desk measures one thing: rows that the Securities and Exchange Board of India and the Reserve Bank of India have published. A row is a regulator's act, not our judgment. Each table names its source under the figure, with a link, so a reader can check the figure at its publisher.

Who reads the sources, how often, and who answers a correction matters. The desk reads the named public sources on a fixed schedule, records the date and hour each figure was read, and republishes the row exactly as the source shows it. If a figure is wrong, the desk corrects it and dates the correction. No person is named as the author; the desk is the author.

What the desk is and is not

The desk is an independent editorial desk. It is not a broker, not an exchange, not a licensed adviser, and it holds no client money. No page on this site is investment advice, a recommendation, or an offer. The figures describe what things cost, not what a reader should do.

A reader deciding whether to believe the site's figures should know what the desk cannot do. It cannot see a reader's own bank or wallet, cannot answer what a reader should do with their money, and cannot promise that a figure will stay the same. The desk will not rate a broker or conclude that a name not on a list is safe or unsafe. It only republishes what the regulator published.

What the site collects and what it cannot see

The site has no accounts, no login, no newsletter, and no comment form. It sets no cookie of its own, runs no analytics, and stores nothing in the reader's browser. A reader can read every page without the site knowing who they are.

The pages are served by a hosting provider which, like any web host, keeps its own technical request logs. The site's publisher does not read a reader's personal data out of those logs. What the hosting provider logs is standard: the technical request, the time, and the page asked for. That is all.

How the site is funded and the affiliate relationship

The site links to one broker, FxPro, through an affiliate link. If a reader opens an account there, the site is paid a commission. The reader pays nothing to this site and nothing extra at the broker. This is stated plainly, in its own paragraph, on the page about the publisher and on the page about terms.

Following the link leaves this site. The broker's own site is operated by someone else, under its own terms and its own privacy policy. The desk does not control that site, does not see what a reader does there, and cannot answer for the broker's conduct. The affiliate relationship does not change what the desk measures or how it measures it.
